I have two situations:

1. The first is I have a lake house with a GE Concord 4 system that professionally installed for a previous owner.

2. The second is I purchased a second Concord 4 for my other house so we would NOT have to learn a different system for each house.

Now for the help I need. I would first like to get the NEW system up and running. I have installed the keypad, controller box, and mounted wireless sensors on 3 doors and a motion sensor in the living room.

Has anyone written down a simple list of procedures to get the system up and working properly? Once I have it running I will be using a Internet interface unit to connect to NextAlarm for their monitoring option.

For the Lake House what do I need to do to put in our Access Codes? I unplugged the phone wire (inside the control box) and plugged the wire into the Internet interface. I have it connected to a Router with active Internet.

I would REALLY appreciate having a list of steps to do for each system to getting them in proper operation.

Thanks ahead of time,

Ron

I guess you can view the settings on your "old" system and note the settings. Then just transfer (input)those settings into the "new" system.
