I replaced of my very old Honeywell control panel with a Vista 21iP. I reconnected all the sensors, added two 6270 touch screen keypads, a motion sensor and connected a 6160 keypad to program the system.

To enter the program mode, I pressed * and # at the same time, within 50 seconds of power up, as per the instruction manual, and nothing happened. The two line display remained blank.

Why am I not getting a response?

The only response I got was getting the keypad address, by by pressing the 1 and 3 keys at the same time for 3 seconds, 60 seconds after power-up.
